Our washing machine “died” for a weekend. Well not really “died”, it was still making noises and it still still worked okay, it just didn’t drain the water.

So like any other GenY nerd, the first thing I did was Google about it. And let me tell you now, for all those people who actually OWN a Hoover Boss Washing Machine, that there is a very disappointing LACK of websites out there for help The top few hits were ebay-ers selling the damn machine than actually providing information on it.

Maybe I’m crap at searching and maybe I missed a link or two, but you would think going to Hoover.com would take me to the company website?? And you would think that Hoover.com (a USA site which only sells vacuum cleaners and the like) would link to Hoover – Australia?…. pfft! Not going to happen

I found my way to Hoover.co.uk from a helpful website but again, no link to Australian Hoover…….. Aussie Hoover sucks!

So finally, typing in Hoover.com.au will take you to some random website which has the bare minimum and pretty much all of the links are faulty What a total waste of my time…

In the end, we found out that the filter was clogged … No thanks to the stupid hoover websites!! But how was I to know where the filter is? We didn’t have the instruction manual anymore…

After a bit of turning, twisting, pulling things apart and voila!

We’re not too sure if that laundry ball thingymajiggy (or whatever you call it) was meant to be there because it was UNDER the container where you put the softener. Eitherway, we took it out and the washing machine works fine now …. still not too sure how the heck it got in there
