Why do we always find more things to do during exams? 
The stomach needs feeding The paperwork needs organising The blog needs posting The room needs redecorating The dog needs walking The house needs cleaning The friend needs attention The fridge needs restocking The garden needs weeding The photos need sorting The show needs watching The recipe needs cooking The clouds need watching
The “Thank You” work dinner last Saturday was extremely yuMmy and filling!~ Seafood dishes came out one after another, I thought I was going to get sick of all those prawns, scallops, fish etc. Asians have this habit of overfeeding people! We had to doggy bag a couple of dishes (and bottles of wine 
) and we still had left overs! I have to say though, that lobster disappeared faster than a tub of ice cream placed in front of a bunch of kids 
Wow, hadn’t eaten lobsters in so long … I forget how yummy it is!! :love:
On a full stomach and a bit of wine in my system, I caught up with some friends for karaoke.
And by the time we were kicked out, I was totally ready to catch some 
…zZzz…
The downside of the whole night was the STUPID WILSON PARKING!!!!! 
I actually arrived on time for the dinner but cursing and arguing with the ticket machine made me a little late. I found out too late that the ticket machine is really picky and only takes $5 notes =| thank goodness a nice man gave me a couple of 5′s!
So I put in a $5 note and realised I didn’t have enough change, so a nice lady gave me some coins and I put in two dollars … and that’s when I realised that the *ing machine ate my money!! 
Not cool, not cool at all.
The nice lady waiting for me to buy a ticket was pretty upset with the machine too because she didn’t have enough coins and the machine wouldn’t take her credit card.

Next step, I’ll have to look into booking a dorm at BLCU (Beijing Language and Culture University) because 我打算住在校内 (at least for the first few months). I may move off campus if I find the opportunity, depends on how things go when I actually get there though 
My inside source has given me a heads up of which dorms are newly renovated & refurbished so hopefully I’ll get one of those 
From the looks of things, I’m most likely going to share. But when I actually get there I might decide to be snobby and just keep one room for myself. Because y’know, I like my alone time and all I’ve done some surfing around and apparently, even if you have booked a room, it isn’t a garanty. 啊，但是我不在乎. There should be plenty of rooms, if not, there are hotels near by and I’m sure if I’m really desperate, my cousin will take me in even if it was just on the floor 
But I guess the most important thing I should worry about right now is whether or not they’ve even accepted me. My friends have already received their acceptance letters from the their respective Universities, so I’m guessing BLCU will get to me sometime soon? RIGHT??!! 
I’ll only start freaking out if someone else gets a response from BLCU before me. I APPLIED SO EARLY!! If not, I’m going to have to chase them up again They better not have lost my application!~

Yessssssss! I can’t believe the last day of uni was so stressful! I totally felt like just doing this -> 
Anyways, now that I’m all depressurised for the time being…. I was surfing on YouTube and I found myself searching for the Sony Bravia Advert which we watched during Consumer Behaviour. I remember briefly watching it before on TV but I didn’t think too much of it at the time…
However, now that I was informed that the ads weren’t actually computer generated like almost every other thing nowadays, I’ve found a much greater appreciation for it

Fantastic adverts!~ It was so good that I just couldn’t believe that they did it for real!! I still prefer the calming feel of the first (bouncy ball) ad, and well… who cares that the brand was lost in the greatness of the creative! Just check out the making of’s… wOw, how fun does that all look?
