It’s been 390 Days since the Wii came home and erm… let’s not share how many hours of exercise I’ve accrued… heh. It wasn’t until early this year that I bought Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 and Bully because I was stuck on the idea that less games = more likely to play Wii Fit! (plus there doesn’t seem to be that many good games to play…) Obviously that’s not how it worked out…

Anyway check it out, the new Wii Fit Plus!!

15 new balance games and 6 new strength training and yoga activities

The Wii Fit Plus has the advantage of a setting up a continuous flow of exercises and games in a set period. Nintendo says: “The range of games and customization options will make players want to play every day.” I say, how very hopeful of them!

I still see the Wii as more of a game console than a fitnest tool, so  I guess that’s one of the reasons why I don’t pioritise it as much (yeah, lets not explore the fact that I’m lazy too). Another reason is that if I play it at least once a week, it starts to feel very routine and boring. I haven’t even played Bully enough to get past the 3rd Chapter!! Wii Fit was only fun when I still had stuff to unlock, now there’s no challenge or anything new…

Another non-motivator is that I consistantly score 21 years for my Wii Fit Age and I’m borderline ideal BMI (I’m supposed to get more muscle to increase it…). But one thing I love about the Wii Fit is watching mum play! hAHha

P.S. I saw this and was thinking about buying one, but I’m not sure just how useful it really is? The thing that appeals most to me is that it’s washable! If someone already has one of these, let me know if it’s useful and if this silicone skin will actually last:
