Uninstalling Lookout

I’ve been installing and uninstalling lots of apps on my brand spanking new Samsung Galaxy S 2 that BF bought me. And I stumbled across a little issue with uninstalling Lookout (Android Security for Mobile).

For future reference, in order to uninstall Lookout:

  1. Go to Lookout app Menu > Settings > Missing Device
  2. Uncheck Enable Better Protection
  3. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Lookout > Uninstall
I’m still not sure if there’s any point of having security on the phone since no one else seems to have it?
