WwoOoo! JT was asking about Asian concerts not long ago (since Jay Chou was in Australia?), and look at what I found at YesAsia!:
Andy Lau, Andy Hui and Richie Jen! I haven’t stayed in touch with Asian celebrities but Andy Lau is old, and Richie has been around for a while too… not too sure who Andy Hui is, although I’m sure my little cousins can easily fill me in.
On a side note, I always thought Richie’s surname was Ren not Jen…. the wonders of translation? Or is it the Cantonese romanisation?

Malaysian Airlines have flights Perth to HK for about AUD$500 one way – not bad, but the return flight bites you in the ass for close to AUD$3000 (they “sold out” of their budget/economy seats)
I didn’t want to blog about the death of Michael Jackson since there’s so many tributes and messages etc. But at the same time it felt incomplete without some sort of mention, his presence has left a huge impact on the entertainment industry afterall (I’m talking international scale) … I mean, who doesn’t know the moonwalk and the crotch grab? 
You know what, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the one who influenced c-walk and c-slide…
Anyways, I’ve tried to find a video which has a good mix of Michael Jackson hits (it’s a lot harder than I thought)… this is still missing some of my favourites, but it’s the best mix I’ve come across so far~

Even after a 3 year trial and lengthy discussions, WA has ended with yet another NO to Daylight Saving. I’m not too fussed about it because I still didn’t like the fact that WA started and ended our Daylight Saving on different days to the other states. Seriously, why is it so hard for things to be standardised?
On the other hand, I did enjoy having a little bit more daylight after work, it didn’t make me feel dead. I guess my thoughts on this issue haven’t really changed much since the last time they messed with Daylight Saving in WA.
So is this it? Will they give up now after the 4th “NO” to Daylight Saving?
I got my hands on my bro-il’s fancy camera and took a couple of quick random shots pre-mother’s day. Happy Mum Day!

For Mother’s Day Dinner we went to eat at Mela Indian Sweets and Eats

Mela is a pretty big restaurant already, but now they’ve extended it even more.
The new section is more modern as opposed to the casualness of the original section of the restaurant.
The curries taste fantastic, although not as spicy as we normally have it (but that was our fault for not ordering the hot ones).
The naan and paratha were fresh, so was the curry puff and donut-looking thing.
The chicken byriani is without doubt better than a lot of other byriani we’ve had, it’s still lacking that x-factor for me though…
The service was good although our naan and paratha weren’t cut like ordered, they forgot to give us a serve of papadums, and they didn’t have enough high chairs available.
At the end of the night, they gave all the mum’s in Mela a Red Long Stemmed Rose.
It was so long that it stood taller than my nephew! =D
Although I’m not much of a fan of Indian food, I would go back and eat at Mela… Maybe third time and I’m hooked?
