I’ve been having some trouble falling asleep lately, and it seems to coincide with the date of my departure (fyi it’s this Sunday, 26th August). When I lay in bed at night, it’s as if my brain doesn’t want to wind down and it races over my past present and future. It actually isn’t so bad because it’s made me realised how lucky I have been all my life, but this tossing and turning has deprived me of sleep.

It’s just amazing how slow I am at organising things when I have all this time on my hands. I distracted myself with a book over the weekend, which is the reason I haven’t been online. It’s so distrubing at how little control I have over these temptations/addictions of mine. I thought that I’ld just have a quick skim through to see if it was any good to take with me on my journey, and before I knew it… I had gobbled up the words on those pages, not stopping until I had eatened the entire lot (with the exception of sleep, shower and food breaks!)

For some reason I’ve been listening to Justin Timberlake - What Goes Around a lot recently. Maybe it’s because something else has been going around recently….. A seriously bad case of the cold and the flu virus!! I went to work with a little cold only to find myself in the aftermath of an attack of the flu!! Turns out everyone spent their weekend sleeping in bed… Let’s just hope my cold will stay JUST a cold.
