Or should I more accurately ask, “How fast can the bruise on my foot heal”?
Whatever…

Bruising has always been a concern for friends of mine considering the constant presence of one bruise or another on my body. I don’t consider myself a klutz of any sort despite the impression some people may have… I believe my issue is related to my fragility to… any solid matter….

It was quite painful and swollen initially and had me limping for about 2 days, luckily the drugs helped take the edge off.

Although still a little tender when I press on it or bend my foot too much, I’m glad it’s almost fully healed up now! I’ve only been wearing flats and sport shoes since and I’m craving a bit of height!!

It’s sad to say, but a few days after this post I re-injured the same foot and it bruised up again (this time closer to the ankle)… And just yesterday night, a girl bruised my toe again with the heel of her shoe while dancing!!

A post in the air…

I have had every intention to write up a blog post for the past few weeks. Really, the intention was there!

Most often than not, my blogging occurs when there’s a lull in my time and I can reflect on anything of interest, or I have issues which I need to clarify through writing…

And write write write I did….
Just not to the public ^^;

Some posts are just meant for bouncing of thoughts.
Inconclusive. Unreliable.
And most people just can’t accept that.

To sum up what has been occupying me lately: bf, family, friends, work, dhaa, me! It’s not actually much, but all consume large amounts of time. And it’s time which I don’t have enough of!!!

So here I am, on the plane back from my weekend trip to Melbourne which was both for business (DHAA) and pleasure (friends). And when I’m in Perth, I’m going to have to find time for family, bf and me during the times I won’t be working!

I’m just thankful for friends who don’t mind the lack of contact from my part… er well ok, so maybe they mind just a little bit but they have far superior understanding and forgiveness ^___^;;

Since a couple of months before the Cambodia-Thailand trip, I’ve definitely slipped up and kind of plateaued off in my self study.

进步一定很慢
我可能过世也还没得到我的目的。。。

但是。。。我还想不出来我的目的
我已经想了几次，问了几次：

“如果我只有一天在世，我的目的是什么？”

我的回答可以说，“结束世界的苦难”吗？
如果这时我的目的。。。我应该怎样开始？
我们的世界有那么多问题

人类非常邪恶(evil)因为我们很无知(ignorant)

啊。。。不要想太多了

Down with NAB!!!

We all know that customer satisfaction is essential in any business because a dissatisfied customer will more than likely share their negative experience with others. And we also know that WOM (word of mouth) has a huge impact on people’s decision making process.

So this is my rantage on how UNSATISFIED I am with National aka “NAB” (National Australia Bank) thumbs down And I’m not only going to share it here online, I’m also going to rant to my friends, family, co-workers, my patients and anyone else within ranting distance! evil laugh

AND on top of all that, I’m going to move all my cash to another bank just because of this incident. Not because I care about the stupid fees charged, but because I WASN’T INFORMED about the consequences blee I’ve read the PDS and it does NOT say anything about this in there. NOT a happy customer! Yes I know it’s not like I have that much $ to make a difference, BUT they’ll regret it in the future when I’m earning big bucks!!

So as always, I have to go into the branch and show them an enrolment advice to prove I’m a student so that I won’t get charged the account fee. Usually, after a short wait in some kind of disorganised queue (which by the way is another thing I hate about the bank because I feel like I’m just standing in the middle of nowhere!), they’ll tap away on the computer and send me off on my merry way

This time however, they would not refund me the fees that they charged me contract Yes okay, I admit it was my fault for not updating it right away. And yes, they agreed to refund $12 out of the $30 (not even half! Do you know how much I can buy with $18AUD in CHINA???). But considering they did not have a problem with refunding me previously, how was I to know that from last time onwards I would be charged if they do not sight my enrolment advice regardless of whether or not I was a student.

The only thing that makes me resentful is that I didn’t know! If I had known, then I’ld just be ranting about what a ditz I am =|

NAB, congratulations! You’ve just turned another customer into a bank-hater. Yes, now I’ll forever look at banks as hungry wolves preying on the UNINFORMED stupid customers that fall into their traps. like me

Daylight Savings

Seriously, what’s wrong with having just ONE standard time zone for ONE country? If China can do it, then we can too! ……Right??

Australia-Timezones

I have nothing against Daylight Savings, but I just wish they would make up their minds and stick to it.

If there’s no Daylight Savings, that’s great because I won’t confuse myself over the 1hr change.

If there is Daylight Savings, that’s great because there’s more light to make use of.

Let’s just hope Daylight Savings doesn’t mess with people picking me up from the airport when I come back!

The devil inside

Have you ever done something so totally stupid that you wonder what the heck you were thinking in the first place??

I believe that we all have this devil inside evil laugh , and it does its worst in convincing us do completely random acts to make us look like: Idiots, Fools, Stupid, Morons, Retards, Spaz (have your pick).

One of the more recent stupid things I’ve done… Was when I left the Solid Shampoo and Shower Jelly I bought from LUSH lying on the kitchen the table. Not a bright idea considering the packaging looks like how you expect food to be packaged.

And as expected, famliy thought it was edible! Thankfully they didn’t eat it, although they were very close to it. Eitherway, I beat them to it! hAHa sweat Yeah, I know you’re not meant to eat it!! I was just wondering what it might taste like, and I figured that a little bit couldn’t hurt me. It’s all NATURAL and ORGANIC anyways!

Well it seemed so logical and sensible at the time (as it always seems). I only tried the Jelly because the Shampoo smells and has henna in it! For those who are curious, it doesn’t taste that gross. Tastes just like a mix of Sunflower, Lavendar, Citrus Dulcis, Glycerine, Chamomile, SLS and whatever else that’s in there. Actually, I couldn’t really taste the OJ meH
